Foxburg is a village in Northwestern Pennsylvania, nestled in the valleys of the Allegheny and Clarion rivers. The area has a rich history of oil and railroads; and today, recreational opportunities abound.
Canoes and kayaks traverse the river for about thirty miles from Oil City to Parker. Fishing is excellent, and there’s a bike trail from Emlenton to Titusville. The area is also home to Cook Forest and the Oil Heritage Region.
The historic Foxburg Country Club is the oldest golf course in continuous use in the United States. You’ll find several other golf courses nearby also.
Lincoln Hall in Foxburg and the Crawford Center in Emlenton have facilities for concerts, plays and other entertainment. Lincoln Hall is also the home of the Mighty Wurlitzer, one of few remaining working organs, still in use during concerts and silent movies.
See the Allegheny Riverstone Center for the Arts website for a calendar of upcoming events.
The Allegheny Grille offers fine dining for lunch and dinner and breakfast on weekends. Foxburg Pizza offers delicious pizzas, subs and salads.
The Foxburg Wine Cellar is in the heart of town, stop in to sample regional wines and pick up a gift basket for the folks back home.
Shoppers also love the nearby Grove City Outlets. We are within close proximity of Slippery Rock University, Clarion University, and Grove City College.
